(Fees include - registration fees for SMLA, ALA & CALL Fees)
Registration & payment is mandatory before any players or coaches will be allowed to take the floor. We will be working within all AHS, ALA, CALL and facility guidelines.
Should cancelations occur due to events out of our control, refunds may be given at the discretion of the SMLA board. The full ALA administration and insurance fee will be charged to each player should this occur. Please see Refund Policy for details of ALA fees.
As part of the registration process, a comprehensive code of conduct for players and parents has been implemented to ensure a respectful and positive season within the lacrosse community. This must be followed throughout the season to remain eligible to participate.
Please review the Code of Conduct found here.
This year we will require all SMLA families to commit to 4 volunteer hours (in addition to regular game duties, such as clock and penalty box). Please submit your $100 volunteer cheque to your team manager at the first practice/game; it will be held until the end of the season and returned upon completion of volunteer hours. Volunteer hours can include, but are not limited to, casino duties, coaching, managing, washing jerseys, bottle drive, U7 & U9 home festival, but again, does not include each family’s commitment to working the score/penalty box during home and away games.
SMLA is currently looking for bench staff and volunteers for each team. Coaches much complete the required certification before they are allowed on the floor. SMLA will reimburse the cost of coaching courses once completed. https://www.albertalacrosse.com/content/coaching-clinics
